Login & Registration

The LEaD training system, or MLE (Managed Learning Environment), is a learning management system which acts as a database for the trust's staff training records, and delivers and manages all types of training content, including classroom courses, eLearning, and videos.

If you are new to the trust and have never used the system before, you will need to register as a new user. However, if you are returning to the trust, your account will still exist and your login details will be the same. If you cannot remember these, please contact LEaD.

To access the training site, go to the home page of the staff website, scroll down, click the LEaD icon, and then click the ‘Login’ button on the following page. Then, click the ‘New user’ button to set up an account. Please ensure you complete every field and double check your details are entered correctly. When you click ‘Register’, an email will be sent to the address you entered. Click the link in this to verify your account, then log in with the username and password you just set up.

In order to create an account, we need your NI number from HR. If you are not able to register, this is usually because LEaD has not yet received your details from HR. The system is updated with new data from HR each Tuesday, so your account will usually become available on the Tuesday following your start date. To see if you have an account, ask your manager to try and add you to their team; if they cannot find your name, you do not yet have an account – try again next Tuesday. If there is still not an account for you by this time, please contact HR via the details below.

If your manager was able to find an account for you, please try registering again, making sure your NI number is typed correctly. If you are still unsuccessful, please contact HR to check they have the correct NI number for you on their system.

To access the LEaD training site, go to the staff website, scroll down, click the LEaD icon, and then the ‘Login’ button. On the following page, enter your login details on the left. From the LEaD login page, click ‘Forgotten your password?’, then enter the email address on your account. An email containing your username will now be sent this address. If you do not receive this, see below.

Firstly, make sure you’re logged out of LEaD. Then, from the login page, click ‘Forgotten your password?’, enter your email address and click the ‘Send’ button. An email will now be sent to you if this matches the email address on your account; click the link in the email to enter a new password.

This is likely to be because the email account you have is not the one on your MLE account, or it is a personal one – these emails sometimes go into the junk or spam folders of non-trust email accounts, so do check there first. If you have still not received the email, please contact LEaD to get the email address on your account changed and check your username.
This is because you’re trying to reset it whilst logged in. Please click ‘Sign out’, and then ‘Forgotten your password?’ on the login page. Enter your email address and click the ‘Send’ button in the bottom right to send an email to the address on your account, then click the link in the email to reset your password.
Your previous account will be reopened, so you will just need to log in as usual. If you do not remember your username and password, please see the instructions above, or you can contact the LEaD help desk where we can advise you of your username or update any email addresses.
