Learning Environment Team / Student Placements

Our role as the Learning Environment Team is to be responsible for supporting the non-medical, multi-disciplinary learner experience and quality of learning environments across Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust through:

  • Working collaboratively to provide an effective learning environment
  • Providing professional support and facilitation for teams, professional leads, mentors, practice assessors, practice supervisors, practice educators and practice teachers
  • Assuring quality of clinical placements
  • Maximising the number of students and learners supported within clinical practice areas
  • Ensuring that the student experience is of the highest quality
  • Enhance and support the role of the mentor/practice educator and practice assessor/practice supervisors
